Droppings Dream Explanation — (Excrements of a bird.) In a dream, droppings mean a new garment. If the droppings are those of an eagle or a vulture in the dream, they mean dethroning a king or a leader. (Also see Dung; Manure)

It is said that a bird in a dream can also represent a wealthy and cunning leader who continually fights for their earnings and to ensure their success or superiority. Furthermore, a bird in a dream may represent a beautiful woman. The singing of birds in a dream signifies hearing good words or gaining valuable knowledge. A flock of birds may represent easily earned wealth. Capturing a bird in a dream indicates control over a powerful individual. Killing a bird in a dream signifies the fulfilment of one’s goals. • An unknown bird standing on a pregnant woman’s head, shoulders, or knees: She will give birth to a child of the same gender as the bird. If the latter had stayed, the child would live and remain close to her. If it had flown away, it would mean the contrary.
• Owning or catching a flock of birds: Money and power, especially if the dreamer was looking after them, feeding them, and talking to them.
• Birds hovering over the dreamer’s head: Will become a leader.

Incident Dream Explanation — It is related that a man revealed his dream to the Imam, stating that he had seen himself holding a water bird, trying to slaughter it with a knife three times. Each time, the bird managed to struggle free. However, on the fourth attempt, he succeeded. To this, the Imaam said: “You have had a good dream. This represents a virgin woman whom you wished to bring under your control three times but without success. You succeeded on the fourth attempt.” He replied: “My Lord, you have spoken the truth. Tonight will be the fifth night.” The Imaam smiled and, after a short while, said: “Come near me. One more thing remains to be told.” The man drew closer and asked: “What remains to be told, my Lord?” He said: “The girl also let out a loud wind.” The man replied: “Yes, you have spoken the truth.” He felt ashamed and departed.
