|@ Allah not only forgives but thanks His worshipers 35:29-30
35:29 Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish their prayers and spend, in secret and in public of that which We have provided them, look for a trade that does not come to nothing,
# إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلاةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِراًّ وَعَلانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَّن تَبُورَ 29
35:30 so that He may pay them in full their wages and enrich them from His bounty. Surely, He is the Forgiver and the Thanker.
# لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ 30
|@ Allah sent Holy Books to His prophets and the Holy Koran confirms the truth that remains in these Holy Books 35:31
35:31 That which We have revealed to you (Prophet Muhammad) of the Book is the truth and it confirms what was before it. Allah is Aware and sees His worshipers.
# وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الكِتَابِ هُوَ الحَقُّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِ لَخَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ 31
|@ The people of Paradise 35:32-35
35:32 Then, We gave the Book as an inheritance to those of Our worshipers whom We chose. Among them, is he who was harmful to himself, and some who minimize, and some who, by the permission of Allah, race in charity, this is the greatest virtue.
# ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ وَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الفَضْلُ الكَبِيرُ 32
35:33 They shall enter the Gardens of Eden, where they shall be adorned with bracelets of gold and with pearls, and there, their robes shall be of silk.
# جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤاً وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ 33
35:34 They shall say, ‘Praise belongs to Allah who has removed all sorrow from us. Indeed, our Lord is the Forgiver, the Thanker.
# وَقَالُوا الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ 34
35:35 Through His bounty He has made us to live in the abode of Everlasting Life, where neither weariness nor fatigue shall touch us.’
# الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ المُقَامَةِ مِن فَضْلِهِ لاَ يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلاَ يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ 35
|@ The cry of the people of the Fire 35:36-37
35:36 As for the unbelievers, theirs is the Fire of Gehenna (Hell). They shall neither be done away with nor die, and its punishment shall never be lightened for them. As such shall We recompense every unbeliever.
# وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُم مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ 36
35:37 There they will cry out, ‘Our Lord, bring us out, and we will do good, other than what we have done.’ What, did We not make your lives long enough to remember for whosoever would remember? A warner came to you, so taste now! None shall help the harm doers.
# وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحاً غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ أَوَ لَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ 37
|@ The losers in the Everlasting Life 35:38-39
35:38 Allah knows the Unseen in the heavens and earth. He knows that which is in the innermost of the chests.
# إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 38
35:39 It is He who made you caliphs in the earth. He who disbelieves, his disbelief shall be charged against him. The unbelievers; disbelief does nothing for them, except, increase them in hate with Allah their disbelief increases the unbelievers only in loss.
# هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلائِفَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ مَقْتاً وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلاَّ خَسَاراً 39
|@ Allah challenges those who associate partners with Him to show Him what they created 35:40
35:40 Say, ‘Have you considered your associates who you call upon, other than Allah? Show me what they have created in the earth! Or, have they a partnership in the heavens ‘ Or, have We given them a Book so that they have proof of it? No, the harm doers promise each other nothing else but delusion.
# قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَاباً فَهُمْ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْهُ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضاً إِلاَّ غُرُوراً 40
|@ The Might and Power of Allah 35:41
35:41 It is Allah who holds the heavens and the earth lest they vanish. Should they vanish, none would hold them after Him. He is the Clement, the Forgiving.
# إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ أَن تَزُولا وَلَئِن زَالَتَا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيماً غَفُوراً 41
|@ Those who broke their oath and their demise 35:42-44
35:42 They (the unbelievers) solemnly swore by Allah that if a warner came to them they would be more rightly guided than any other of the nations. Yet, when a warner came to them, it only increased their aversion,
# وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَى مِنْ إِحْدَى الأُمَمِ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ إِلاَّ نُفُوراً 42
35:43 behaving arrogantly in the land and devising evil. But, evil devising coils only those who do it. Do they look except for the ways of former nations? You shall never find any change in the way of Allah.
# اسْتِكْبَاراً فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ وَلاَ يَحِيقُ المَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلاَّ بِأَهْلِهِ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ سُنَّةَ الأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلاً وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلاً 43
35:44 What, have they not journeyed through the land and seen the end of those who went before them? They were stronger and mightier than themselves. Allah! There is nothing in heavens or earth that can frustrate Him, He is the Knower, the Able.
# أَوَ لَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَلاَ فِي الأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيماً قَدِيراً 44
|@ The mercy of Allah to all 35:45
35:45 If Allah should take people to task for what they have earned, He would not leave one creature that crawls upon the surface (of the earth)! But, He is deferring them to a named time. And when their time comes, indeed, Allah is the Seer of His worshipers.
# وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيراً 45
|@YASSIIN 36 Yaseen – YaSeen
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
36:1 YaSeen.
# يس 1
|@ Allah swears by the Wise Koran that Prophet Muhammad is truly His Messenger and that he was sent to warn 36:2-6
36:2 By the Wise Koran,
# وَالْقُرْآنِ الحَكِيمِ 2
36:3 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent
# إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ المُرْسَلِينَ 3
36:4 upon a Straight Path.
# عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ 4
36:5 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful
# تَنزِيلَ العَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ 5
36:6 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless.
# لِتُنذِرَ قَوْماً مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ 6
|@ The barrier of no return 36:7-10
36:7 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe.
# لَقَدْ حَقَّ القَوْلُ عَلَى أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ 7
36:8 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered.
# إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلالاً فَهِيَ إِلَى الأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ 8
36:9 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see.
# وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَداًّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَداًّ فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ 9
36:10 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe.
# وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ 10
|@ Those who are receptive to the warning 36:11-12
36:11 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage.
# إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَنَ بِالْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ 11
36:12 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book.
# إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي المَوْتَى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ 12
|@ The parable of the Messengers of Allah sent to a village 36:13-19
36:13 Give to them a parable; to the people of the village there came Messengers,
# وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلاً أَصْحَابَ القَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا المُرْسَلُونَ 13
36:14 We sent to them two, but they belied them so We reinforced them with a third. They said, ‘We have surely been sent as Messengers to you.’
# إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ 14
$ The messengers of Allah are rejected because they are humans 36:15-19
36:15 But they said, ‘You are only humans like ourselves. The Merciful has not sent down anything, your speech is but lies!’
# قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمَنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ تَكْذِبُونَ 15
36:16 They said, ‘Our Lord knows that we are Messengers to you.
# قَالُوا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ 16
36:17 And it is only for us to deliver a Clear Message.’
# وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلاَّ البَلاغُ المُبِينُ 17
36:18 They answered, ‘We predict evil of you. If you do not desist, we will stone you and a painful punishment from us will befall you.’
# قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 18
36:19 They said, ‘Your prediction is with you, if you are reminded. Surely, you are but a wayward nation.’
# قَالُوا طَائِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ 19
|@ The sincere man of the village 36:20-25
36:20 Then, a man came running from the furthest part of the village ‘My nation,’ he said, ‘follow the Messengers,
# وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا المَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَى قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا المُرْسَلِينَ 20
36:21 follow those who ask no wage of you and are rightly guided.
# اتَّبِعُوا مَن لاَّ يَسْأَلُكُمْ أَجْراً وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ 21
36:22 Why should I not worship Him who has originated me and to whom you shall all be returned?
# وَمَا لِيَ لاَ أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 22
36:23 What, shall I take, other than Him, gods whose intercession, if the Merciful desires to afflict me, cannot help me at all, and they will never save me?
# أَأَتَّخِذُ مِـن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَنُ بِضُرٍّ لاَ تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يُنقِذُونِ 23
36:24 Surely, I should then be in clear error.
# إِنِّي إِذاً لَّفِي ضَلالٍ مُّبِينٍ 24
36:25 I believe in your Lord, so hear me.’
# إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ 25
|@ The eternal reward of the sincere man 36:26-27
36:26 It was said (to him), ‘Enter Paradise,’ and he said, ‘Would that my people knew
# قِيلَ ادْخُلِ الجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَ 26
36:27 that my Lord has forgiven me, and caused me to be amongst the recipients of generosity.’
# بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ المُكْرَمِينَ 27
|@ The punishment that befell the village 36:28-32
36:28 And We did not send down to his nation after him any army from heaven, neither would We send any down.
# وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى قَوْمِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ 28
36:29 It was only one Shout and they were silent, still.
# إِن كَانَتْ إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ 29
36:30 Woe, for those (unbelieving) worshipers! They mocked every Messenger that came to them.
# يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى العِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 30
36:31 Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them? They shall never return to them,
# أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ القُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لاَ يَرْجِعُونَ 31
36:32 all shall be arraigned before Us.
# وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ 32
|@ The signs of Allah are all around us if we just open our hearts and minds 36:33-46
36:33 The dead land is a sign for them. We revive it, and from it produce grain from which they eat.
# وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الأَرْضُ المَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَباًّ فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ 33
36:34 And there We made gardens of palms and vines, and in it We caused fountains to gush forth,
# وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّاتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ العُيُونِ 34
36:35 so that they might eat of its fruit and the labor of their hands. Will they not give thanks?
# لِيَأْكُلُوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلاَ يَشْكُرُونَ 35
36:36 Exaltations to Him who created pairs of all the things the earth produces and of themselves, and that of which they have no knowledge.
# سبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ 36
36:37 A sign for them is the night. From it We withdraw the day and they are in darkness.
# وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ 37
36:38 The sun runs to its fixed resting-place; that is the decree of the Almighty, the Knower.
# وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ العَزِيزِ العَلِيمِ 38
36:39 And the moon, We have determined it in phases till it returns like an old palm-branch.
# وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّى عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ القَدِيمِ 39
36:40 The sun shall not outstrip the moon, nor shall the night outstrip the day. Each is floating in an orbit.
# لاَ الشَّمْسُ يَنْبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ القَمَرَ وَلاَ اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ 40
36:41 And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark (of Noah).
# وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الفُلْكِ المَشْحُونِ 41
36:42 And We have created for them the like of it in which they board.
# وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ 42
36:43 We drown them if We will, then they have none to cry to, nor can they be saved,
# وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلاَ صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ 43
36:44 except through Our Mercy and as enjoyment for awhile.
# إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعاً إِلَى حِينٍ 44
36:45 When it is said to them, ‘Have fear of that which is before you and behind you in order that you find mercy.’
# وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ 45
36:46 Yet there never comes to them any sign of their Lord’s signs, but they turn away from it.
# وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ 46
|@ The insolence and ingratitude of those who do not give charity from that which Allah gave them and their disbelief in the Day of Judgement 36:47-50
36:47 And when it is said to them, ‘Spend of that which Allah has given you,’ the unbelievers say to the believers, ‘Are we to feed those whom Allah can feed if He chooses? Surely, you are only in clear error.’
# وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ فِي ضَلالٍ مُّبِينٍ 47
36:48 They also say, ‘When will this promise be, if what you say is true?’
# وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 48
36:49 They await but one Shout, which will seize them while they dispute.
# مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ 49
36:50 Then they will be unable to make a will, nor shall they return to their kinsmen.
# فَلاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلاَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 50
|@ The realization of the Day of Resurrection 36:51-68
36:51 And the Horn is blown, and, from the graves they rush forth to their Lord.
# وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الأَجْدَاثِ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ 51
36:52 ‘Woe for us! ‘ they will say. ‘Who has roused us from our sleeping-place? This is what the Merciful promised; the Messengers have spoken the truth! ‘
# قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَنْ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا هَذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَصَدَقَ المُرْسَلُونَ 52
36:53 And it is but one Shout and they are all arraigned before Us.
# إِن كَانَتْ إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ 53
36:54 Today, no soul shall be wronged a thing. You shall not be recompensed except according to your deeds.
# فَالْيَوْمَ لاَ تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئاً وَلاَ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 54
36:55 Indeed, the companions of the Garden are this Day busy in their rejoicing.
# إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الجَنَّةِ اليَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ 55
36:56 Together with their spouses, they shall recline on couches in the shade.
# هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلالٍ عَلَى الأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ 56
36:57 They shall have fruits and all that they call for.
# لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ 57
36:58 Peace, a saying from the Most Merciful Lord.
# سَلامٌ قَوْلاً مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ 58
36:59 (And He will say), ‘Distance yourselves, O sinners, this Day.
# وَامْتَازُوا اليَوْمَ أَيُّهَا المُجْرِمُونَ 59
36:60 Children of Adam, did I not make a covenant with you, that you should not worship satan he is surely a clear enemy to you
# أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لاَّ تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ 60
36:61 and that you worship Me? Surely, that is the Straight Path.
# وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ 61
36:62 Yet he has led many a host of you astray, did you not understand?
# وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلاًّ كَثِيراً أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ 62
36:63 This, then is Gehenna (Hell), that which you were promised.
# هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ 63
36:64 Roast well therein this Day for you were unbelievers.’
# اصْلَوْهَا اليَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ 64
36:65 This Day We set a seal on their mouths and their hands speak to Us, and their feet will testify to their earnings.
# الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ 65
36:66 Had it been Our will We would have obliterated their sight so that they raced to the Path. But, how would they see?
# وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ 66
36:67 Had it been Our will We would have transmuted them (into monkeys, pigs and stones) where they were, so that they could neither go forward nor yet return.
# وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِياًّ وَلاَ يَرْجِعُونَ 67
36:68 To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand?
# وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الخَلْقِ أَفَلاَ يَعْقِلُونَ 68
|@ The Koran is not Arabic poetry, it is a Remembrance and a clear Holy Reading sent by Allah 36:69-70
36:69 We have not taught him (Prophet Muhammad) poetry, nor does it become him. This is only a Remembrance and a Clear Holy Reading (Koran)
# وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ 69
36:70 that he may warn the living, and so that Judgement may be passed against the unbelievers.
# لِيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَياًّ وَيَحِقَّ القَوْلُ عَلَى الكَافِرِينَ 70
|@ Cattle are amongst the mercy and blessing Allah gave to us 36:71-73
36:71 Have they not seen how We have created for them the cattle they master with Our Hands?
# أَوَ لَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَاماً فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ 71
36:72 We have subdued these to them, and some of them they ride and some of them they eat;
# وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ 72
36:73 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks!
# وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلاَ يَشْكُرُونَ 73
|@ It is just as easy for Allah to resurrect us as it is for Him to create us, He only has to say “Be” and it is 36:74-83
36:74 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might helped!
# وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ 74
36:75 They cannot help them, for them (the so-called) army are brought (with them to Hell).
# لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ 75
36:76 So do not let their sayings grieve you. Surely, We have knowledge of what they hide and all that they reveal.
# فَلاَ يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ 76
36:77 Has the human not seen how We created him from a drop (of sperm)? Yet he is a clear opponent.
# أَوَ لَمْ يَرَ الإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ 77
36:78 And he has struck for Us a parable, and forgotten his own creation. He asks, ‘Who will quicken the bones after they have decayed?’
# وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلاً وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِي العِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ 78
36:79 Say, ‘He will quicken them who originated them the first time; He has knowledge of every creation;
# قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ 79
36:80 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle.’
# الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الأَخْضَرِ نَاراً فَإِذَا أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ 80
36:81 Is He who created the heavens and the earth unable to create their like? Yes, indeed, He is the Creator, the Knower.
# أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم بَلَى وَهُوَ الخَلاَّقُ العَلِيمُ 81
36:82 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it ‘Be’, and it is!
# إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئاً أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ 82
36:83 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned.
# فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 83
