|@AL MUZZAMMIL 73 The Wrapped – Al-Muzzammil
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
$ The merit of getting up to pray during the night 73:1-6
73:1 O you (Prophet Muhammad) wrapped,
# يَا أَيُّهَا المُزَّمِّلُ 1
73:2 rise (to pray) the night except a little;
# قُمِ اللَّيْلَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً 2
73:3 half the night, or a little less
# نِّصْفَهُ أَوِ انقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلاً 3
73:4 or a little more; and with recitation, recite the Koran.
# أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ وَرَتِّلِ القُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلاً 4
73:5 We are about to cast upon you a weighty Word.
# إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلاً ثَقِيلاً 5
73:6 Indeed, the first part of the night is heavier in tread, and more upright in speech.
# إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئاً وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلاً 6
|@ Remember Allah in your daily affairs and with patience leave those who do not believe to Him 73:7-9
73:7 You have by day prolonged occupations.
# إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحاً طَوِيلاً 7
73:8 Remember the Name of your Lord and dedicate yourself devoutly to Him.
# وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلاً 8
73:9 He is the Lord of the East and the West; there is no god except Him. Take Him for your Guardian.
# رَّبُّ المَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلاً 9
|@ Those who belie Allah 73:10-14
73:10 Bear patiently with what they say and with a fine abandonment forsake them.
# وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْراً جَمِيلاً 10
73:11 Leave to Me those who belie, those who lead a life of pleasure, and bear with them yet a little while.
# وَذَرْنِي وَالْمُكَذِّبِينَ أُوْلِي النَّعْمَةِ وَمَهِّلْهُمْ قَلِيلاً 11
73:12 We have fetters (for them) and a blazing fire,
# إِنَّ لَدَيْنَا أَنكَالاً وَجَحِيماً 12
73:13 choking food and a painful punishment.
# وَطَعَاماً ذَا غُصَّةٍ وَعَذَاباً أَلِيماً 13
73:14 On the Day when the earth with all its mountains quake and the mountains become heaps of shifting sand.
# يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ الجِبَالُ كَثِيباً مَّهِيلاً 14
|@ Prophet Muhammad was sent as a witness 73:15-16
73:15 Indeed, We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness over you, just as We sent a Messenger to Pharaoh.
# إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ رَسُولاً شَاهِداً عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ رَسُولاً 15
73:16 Pharaoh disobeyed Our Messenger, so We seized him remorselessly.
# فَعَصَى فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذاً وَبِيلاً 16
|@ How will you guard yourself against the Day of Judgement? 73:17-19
73:17 If you disbelieve, how will you guard yourself against the Day that will make children gray haired,
# فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْماً يَجْعَلُ الوِلْدَانَ شِيباً 17
73:18 on which the heaven will split apart, and His promise is done.
# السَّمَاءُ مُنفَطِرٌ بِهِ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَفْعُولاً 18
73:19 This is indeed a Reminder. Let whosoever will take the Path to his Lord.
# إِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلاً 19
|@ The voluntary night prayers of Prophet Muhammad and those who desire to come closer to Allah 73:20
73:20 Your Lord knows that you keep vigil nearly two thirds of the night and sometimes half or one-third of it, and a party of those with you. Allah measures the night and the day. He knows that you cannot count it, and turns to you. Therefore, recite from the Koran as much as is easy (for you); He knows that among you there are the sick and others traveling the road seeking the bounty of Allah; and others fighting in the Way of Allah. So then, recite from it as much as is easy. Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and lend Allah a generous loan. Whatever good you shall forward to your souls’ account, you surely will find it better with Allah, and a mightier wage. And supplicate for the forgiveness of Allah. Allah is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
# إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ القُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْراً وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْراً وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 20
|@AL MUDDASSIR 74 The Cloaked – Al-Muddaththir
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
$Prophet Muhammad to warn 74:1-1
74:1 O you (Prophet Muhammad), the cloaked,
# يَا أَيُّهَا المُدَّثِّرُ 1
74:2 arise and warn,
# قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ 2
74:3 and exalt your Lord,
# وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ 3
74:4 and purify your clothing,
# وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ 4
74:5 and flee from the statues!
# وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ 5
74:6 Do not give, thinking to gain greater
# وَلاَ تَمْنُن تَسْتَكْثِرُ 6
74:7 be patient unto your Lord.
# وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ 7
74:8 When the Horn is blown,
# فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ 8
74:9 that shall be a Harsh Day
# فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ 9
74:10 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers.
# عَلَى الكَافِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ 10
|@The ingratitude of the unbeliever to Allah 74:11-31
74:11 Leave Me (Allah) alone with he whom I created
# ذَرْنِي وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيداً 11
74:12 and designated for him ample wealth,
# وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ مَالاً مَّمْدوداً 12
74:13 and sons that stand in witness.
# وَبَنِينَ شُهُوداً 13
74:14 I made things smooth and easy for him,
# وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُ تَمْهِيداً 14
74:15 yet he is eager that I increase him.
# ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ 15
74:16 Not at all! Surely, he has been disobedient to Our verses.
# كَلاَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَ لآيَاتِنَا عَنِيداً 16
74:17 I will constrain him to a hard ascent.
# سَأُرْهِقُهُ صَعُوداً 17
74:18 He reflected, and then determined
# إِنَّهُ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ 18
74:19 death seized him, how was his determining!
# فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ 19
74:20 Again, death seized him, how was his determining!
# ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ 20
74:21 Then he looked,
# ثُمَّ نَظَرَ 21
74:22 frowned and scowled;
# ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ 22
74:23 then he retreated and grew proud
# ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ 23
74:24 and said, ‘This is no more than traced sorcery;
# فَقَالَ إِنْ هَذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ 24
74:25 It is nothing but the word of a mortal!’
# إِنْ هَذَا إِلاَّ قَوْلُ البَشَرِ 25
74:26 I will surely roast him in the Scorching.
# سَأُصْلِيهِ سَقَرَ 26
74:27 What will let you know what the Scorching is like!
# وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سَقَرُ 27
74:28 It neither spares, nor releases,
# لاَ تُبْقِي وَلاَ تَذَرُ 28
74:29 and it burns the flesh.
# لَوَّاحَةٌ لِّلْبَشَرِ 29
74:30 Over it are nineteen (angels guarding).
# عَلَيْهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ 30
74:31 We have appointed none but angels to guard the Fire, and made their number only as a trial for the unbelievers, so that those to whom the Book was given are certain and those who believe increase in belief. And that those who were given the Book, and those who believe will not be in doubt. And that those in whose hearts there is a sickness, together with the unbelievers, may say, ‘What did Allah intend by this as an example?’ As such, Allah leaves in error whom He will and He guides whomsoever He will. None knows the hosts of your Lord except He. This is no more than a Reminder to humans.
# وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلاَّ مَلائِكَةً وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلاَّ فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيمَاناً وَلاَ يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الكِتَابَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْكَافِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلاً كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ 31
|@Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns except for the Companions of the Right 74:32-39
74:32 No, by the moon!
# كَلاَّ وَالْقَمَرِ 32
74:33 By the receding night
# وَاللَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ 33
74:34 and the morning when it appears,
# وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا أَسْفَرَ 34
74:35 it is one of the greatest trials,
# إِنَّهَا لإِحْدَى الكُبَرِ 35
74:36 a warning to humans,
# نَذِيراً لِّلْبَشَرِ 36
74:37 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind.
# لِمَن شَاءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ 37
74:38 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns,
# كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ 38
74:39 except the Companions of the Right.
# إِلاَّ أَصْحَابَ اليَمِينِ 39
|@The reply of the people of the Fire to the people of Paradise 74:40-47
74:40 In Gardens they will question
# فِي جَنَّاتٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ 40
74:41 concerning the sinners,
# عَنِ المُجْرِمِينَ 41
74:42 ‘What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)? ‘
# مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِي سَقَرَ 42
74:43 They will reply, ‘We were not among those who prayed
# قَالُوا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ المُصَلِّينَ 43
74:44 and we did not feed the needy.
# وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ المِسْكِينَ 44
74:45 We plunged in with the plungers
# وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ الخَائِضِينَ 45
74:46 and belied the Day of Recompense
# وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ 46
74:47 till the certainty (death) overtook us.’
# حَتَّى أَتَانَا اليَقِينُ 47
|@Intercessors will not benefit the unbelievers 74: 48-56
74:48 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them (the unbelievers).
# فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمْ شَفَاعَةُ الشَّافِعِينَ 48
74:49 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder,
# فَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ التَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِينَ 49
74:50 like startled wild donkeys
# كَأَنَّهُمْ حُمُرٌ مُّسْتَنفِرَةٌ 50
74:51 fleeing before a lion?
# فَرَّتْ مِن قَسْوَرَةٍ 51
74:52 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls.
# بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُؤْتَى صُحُفاً مُّنَشَّرَةً 52
74:53 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life.
# كَلاَّ بَل لاَّ يَخَافُونَ الآخِرَةَ 53
74:54 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder.
# كَلاَّ إِنَّهُ تَذْكِرَةٌ 54
74:55 So, whoever wills, will remember it.
# فَمَن شَاءَ ذَكَرَهُ 55
74:56 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness.
# وَمَا يَذْكُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ المَغْفِرَةِ 56
|@AL QIYAAMAH 75 The Resurrection – Al-Qiyamah
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
$ Allah, Himself swears by the Day of Resurrection and His ability to recreate us 75:1-4
75:1 No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection,
# لا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ 1
75:2 No! I swear by the reproachful soul!
# وَلاَ أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ 2
75:3 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones?
# أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنْسَانُ أَن لَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ 3
75:4 Indeed yes, We are able to shape his finger tips yet again!
# بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّـسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ 4
|@ Where will you flee on the Day of Resurrection? 75:5-21
75:5 Rather, the human desires to continue in his immorality,
# بَلْ يُرِيدُ الإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ 5
75:6 ‘When will the Day of Resurrection be?’ he asks,
# يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ القِيَامَةِ 6
75:7 but when the sight is dazed
# فَإِذَا بَرِقَ البَصَرُ 7
75:8 and the moon eclipsed,
# وَخَسَفَ القَمَرُ 8
75:9 when the sun and moon are gathered together
# وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ 9
75:10 on that Day the human will ask, ‘To (which place) shall I flee?’
# يَقُولُ الإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ المَفَرُّ 10
75:11 No, there shall be no (place of) refuge.
# كَلاَّ لاَ وَزَرَ 11
75:12 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord.
# إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ المُسْتَقَرُّ 12
75:13 On that Day the human shall be informed of his former and latter deeds.
# يُنَبَّأُ الإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ 13
75:14 He shall be a clear proof against himself,
# بَلِ الإِنسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ 14
75:15 even though he offers his excuses.
# وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ 15
75:16 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it.
# لاَ تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ 16
75:17 It’s gathering and reciting is upon Us.
# إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ 17
75:18 When We recite it, follow its recitation.
# فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ 18
75:19 It’s explanation is upon Us.
# ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ 19
75:20 Yet you love this hasty world
# كَلاَّ بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ العَاجِلَةَ 20
75:21 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life.
# وَتَذَرُونَ الآخِرَةَ 21
|@ Will your face be radiant or scowling on the Day of Judgement? 75:22-25
75:22 On that Day there shall be radiant faces,
# وَجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ 22
75:23 gazing towards their Lord.
# إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ 23
75:24 And on that Day there shall be scowling faces,
# وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ 24
75:25 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them.
# تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ 25
|@ A reminder and the death of those who turned away from Allah 75:26-40
75:26 But, when (the soul) reaches the collar bone
# كَلاَّ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَ 26
75:27 and it is said, ‘Who is a healing chanter?’
# وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ 27
75:28 and when he thinks it is the time of departure
# وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الفِرَاقُ 28
75:29 and when leg is intertwined with leg,
# وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ 29
75:30 upon that Day the driving shall be to your Lord.
# إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ المَسَاقُ 30
75:31 Because, he neither believed nor prayed;
# فَلاَ صَدَّقَ وَلاَ صَلَّى 31
75:32 he belied the truth and turned away;
# وَلَكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى 32
75:33 then went arrogantly to his household.
# ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى 33
75:34 Near to you and nearer,
# أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى 34
75:35 then nearer to you and nearer!
# ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى 35
75:36 Does the human think he will be left to roam at will?
# أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى 36
75:37 What, was he not an ejaculated drop (of sperm)?
# أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِيٍّ يُمْنَى 37
75:38 Then he was a clot of blood, then He created and formed him
# ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى 38
75:39 and made from him two kinds, male and female.
# فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنثَى 39
75:40 What, is He then unable to revive the dead?
# أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أن يُحْيِيَ المَوْتَى 40
|@AL INSAAN 76 The Human – Al-‘Insan
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
$ Are you among the grateful or ungrateful? 76:1-4
76:1 Indeed, there came upon the human a period of time when he was an unremembered thing.
# هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الإِنسَانِ حِينٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْئاً مَّذْكُوراً 1
76:2 We have created the human from a (sperm) drop, a mixture, testing him; We made him to hear and see.
# إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعاً بَصِيراً 2
76:3 Indeed, We have guided him to the path, he is either grateful or ungrateful.
# إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِراً وَإِمَّا كَفُوراً 3
76:4 Indeed, for the unbelievers We have prepared chains, fetters and a Blazing (Fire).
# إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَلاسِلَ وَأَغْلالاً وَسَعِيراً 4
|@ Check list for Muslims and those who want to keep Muslims in check 76:5-10
76:5 But the righteous shall drink of a goblet mixed with camphor;
# إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُوراً 5
76:6 a fountain at which the worshipers of Allah drink and make it gush forth abundantly;
# عَيْناً يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيراً 6
76:7 those who keep their vows and fear a Day whose evil is spread;
# يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْماً كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيراً 7
76:8 who give food for the love of Him to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,
# وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِيناً وَيَتِيماً وَأَسِيراً 8
76:9 (saying), ‘We feed you only desirous of the Face of Allah; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks,
# إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لاَ نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلاَ شُكُوراً 9
76:10 for we fear from our Lord a stern, frownful Day.’
# إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْماً عَبُوساً قَمْطَرِيراً 10
|@ Allah thanks the believers for their striving and recompenses them with bounties of the Everlasting Life 76:11-22
76:11 So Allah will save them from the evil of that Day and has secured for them radiance and joyfulness,
# فَوَقَاهُمُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَلِكَ اليَوْمِ وَلَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُوراً 11
76:12 and recompense them for their patience with a Garden, and robes of silk.
# وَجَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيراً 12
76:13 Reclining there upon couches, they shall see neither the sun nor the moon.
# مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الأَرَائِكِ لاَ يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْساً وَلاَ زَمْهَرِيراً 13
76:14 Near them shall be its shades with its clusters hung gently down,
# وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلاً 14
76:15 and passed around them shall be silver vessels, and crystal goblets,
# وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِآنِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَ 15
76:16 goblets of silver that they have precisely measured.
# قَوَارِيرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيراً 16
76:17 And they shall be given to drink from a cup whose mixture is ginger,
# وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْساً كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلاً 17
76:18 from a fountain called Salsabila.
# عَيْناً فِيهَا تُسَمَّى سَلْسَبِيلاً 18
76:19 Immortal youths will go about them, when you see them, you would suppose them to be scattered pearls.
# وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤاً مَّنثُوراً 19
76:20 When you see them, you see bliss, and a great Kingdom.
# وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيماً وَمُلْكاً كَبِيراً 20
76:21 Upon them there will be garments of green silk, rich brocade, and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them a pure beverage to drink.
# عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ وَحُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَاباً طَهُوراً 21
76:22 ‘See, this is your recompense, your striving is thanked.’
# إِنَّ هَذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَاءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُوراً 22
|@ The Koran is a reminder 76:23-31
76:23 We have indeed, sent down to you the Koran, a (clear) sending,
# إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ القُرْآنَ تَنزِيلاً 23
76:24 therefore be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, and do not obey either the sinner or the unbeliever.
# فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلاَ تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ آثِماً أَوْ كَفُوراً 24
76:25 And, remember the Name of your Lord at the dawn and in the evening;
# وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلاً 25
76:26 and in the night prostrate to Him; and exalt Him for a long night.
# وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلاً طَوِيلاً 26
76:27 Indeed, these love the hasty life, and are heedless and leave behind them a heavy Day.
# إِنَّ هَؤُلاءِ يُحِبُّونَ العَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَاءَهُمْ يَوْماً ثَقِيلاً 27
76:28 We created them, and We strengthened their joints, but, when We will, We shall indeed exchange their likes.
# نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلاً 28
76:29 This is indeed a Reminder, so that he who wills, takes a path to his Lord.
# إِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلاً 29
76:30 Yet you will not unless Allah wills; surely, Allah is the Knower, the Wise.
# وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيماً حَكِيماً 30
76:31 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harm doers He has prepared for them a painful punishment.
# يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ وَالظَّالِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً 31
